Sexy, Small Tattoos For Women - Find Stunning Small Tattoo Designs

Have you been thinking of getting a sexy, small tattoo design inked somewhere on your body? If you have, then you are not alone, as many women around the world are choosing to have a small tattoo as their very first tattoo design. These cute tattoos can come in a number of different shapes and sizes, and be tattooed almost anywhere on the body. Some popular choices of small tattoos for women are ankle tattoos, flower tattoos, heart tattoos, dolphin tattoos or Chinese and Japanese symbol tattoos.

Here are 3 important aspects that you need to consider when choosing a small tattoo design.

1) Location - Where on your body do you want to get the tattoo?
Often, girls choose to get a small tattoo mainly because it can be easily hidden if necessary, as many employers require that tattoos are not visible in the workplace. A good example of these types of tattoos are ankle tattoo designs which are inked on the ankle area and can be covered up with socks, or stockings but also shown off when you want it to be.

2) Type of Tattoo
As I mentioned above, there are a variety of different small tattoos you can choose from. The type of tattoo you choose is entirely up to you. Some girls choose tattoos based upon the meaning and significance behind the design, while others choose a tattoo just because it looks good.

3) Find the Perfect Tattoo Design

Remember, once a tattoo is inked on it's with you for life, so it's very important that you spend a lot of time look at a variety of different tattoos before you make your decision. Often, I have found that the best small tattoos for women are found within online tattoo galleries which feature thousands of designs in a number of categories.

Tattoo Parlors

Tattoo-Parlors
Tattoo-Parlors
Tattoo Parlors are Businesses Too!

Many business owners have a habit of getting caught up in the "art" of their businesses and putting to the side the often unpleasant legal and business affairs. Tattoo parlors are no exception, for the owners are true "artists", and "artists" sometimes forget that if the business is to take care of them, they must take care of the business.

Business Leases
Very few of us are fortunate enough to own our own buildings. Most tattoo shop owners rent their space from landlords. Renting a business location carries with it very significant concerns. You must pay attention to the details and know what you are getting into so that you can run your business as a profitable enterprise.

Tattoo-Parlors
Tattoo-Parlors
Tattoo-Parlors
When renting space for your tattoo parlors, pay attention to the following:
# Will the municipality allow you to operate a tattoo parlor in that location? You should always check with the local building department before signing the lease. Many towns and counties have strict zoning law limits on where tattoo parlors can be located. Just because the landlord may allow you to sign the lease does not mean that you can legally operate your business there. This may be even more of an issue for parlors that do piercings.

# Are you required to obtain any permits to operate the parlor? Each municipality has its own requirements. You should make sure that the lease is contingent upon you obtaining both confirmation of no zoning restrictions, as discussed earlier, as well as receipt of all required permits to operate your parlor. It would be a shame to spend money and time pursuing a location that is not legal for your business. (Hint: do NOT rely upon what the brokers may tell you. Confirm all specifics for yourself!)

# Many leases require the tenants to pay all or part of the real estate taxes that affect the premises. Confirm for yourself what the taxes are and verify that there are no increases on the horizon. You are in business to make money. If you cannot get a handle on what your operating costs will be before you open for business, you are doomed to uncertainty and all the perils associated with not knowing what your business operating expenses are.

# Many landlords pass on to tenants the costs of operating the overall center where the space is located. These fees are called "common charges" or "common area maintenance". They cover snowplowing, cleaning parking lots, lighting for common areas, security, and the like. (This is typical in strip malls and shopping centers). Just as taxes must be verified, so too must common charges. Get copies of all bills for your space from the past several years to see how the landlord bills, what he bills for and what you can expect your expenses to be. Also, see if the landlord will cap increases on common charges at the same rate that your rent will be increasing (i.e., if rent increases 3%/year, then common charges should be capped at that rate too).

# Insist that the landlord give you an "exclusive" clause in the lease. You would not want to open for business only to find out that the landlord just rented the adjacent space to another tattoo parlor!

# Do you believe in yourself, your art and your business? Do you think you will succeed? If so, get an option to renew. Many leases are for five years or so. Five years goes by in the blink of an eye. Your customers will soon know you and your location. Relocating is costly, time consuming and detrimental to a business (in many cases). Take advantage of the landlord's enthusiasm when you are signing a lease. And make sure that the rent for the renewal period is specified clearly

The moral of the story is that, just as with your artwork, it's the details that count. Protect yourself and your tattoo business: Work with a qualified broker and real estate attorney, both of whom should know your business, its needs and what your goals are, so that you can focus on inking your customers.(http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=C._Lance_Margolin)

Finding Free Tattoo Images Online

Good tattoo designs can be difficult to come by but there is a solid solution to this. This is when I first thought of creating a free tattoo design website, I thought what a great idea. Instead of painstakingly going through and searching Google or Yahoo for results why not categorize a huge library of tattoo images and designs, and then display them in a user friendly image viewer. A unique image viewer that reduces friction and makes browsing the designs easy is where the true value of the site is.

Tattoo-Images

Categorization tattoo images is another key element to producing a user friendly environment when you are trying to display a large number of images in a single site. Like many of the stock photo sites you see on the Internet today the only way to create a strong site is through ease of use. This is mainly done through simple categorization for your visitors. If you have a well categorized image or design website then your visitors will greatly appreciate it. This categorization reduces anxiety and friction between users and the website.

Ability to print the images is another essential element for any tattoo design website. This is important so that your users can enlarge your images and print them out and bring them to their local tattoo shop for applying. Allowing them to download and save also gives them the ability to alter the design before it is inked on to them. Clarity, categorization and easy access are what make a tattoo website worthwhile to the visitors.(EzineArticles.com)

Note to Myself - Remove Tattoo, Improve Life

As we grow older, we often regret decisions we made earlier in our lives because they impact us now that we are "older and wiser." Sometimes tattoos fall into that category. At the time they may have seemed like a good idea, but now they get in the way. The message they convey may not be appropriate, they may stand in the way of job opportunities, or in the case of gang tattoos, they may actually present a danger to your physical well being if the wrong people see them. You want to remove them. And you want to know what tattoo removal methods are available.

Laser Tattoo Removal

This is by far the most popular removal method. Success rate in completely removing the tattoo is generally very high and the chances of scarring are low, although it does occur. It takes multiple treatments to remove a tattoo, the number of treatments varying with the size and complexity of the tattoo. Treatment can be expensive, as much as $10,000 if a large tattoo is being removed.

IPL Therapy

Intense pulsed light therapy is similar to laser in that intense light is used to break up the tattoo ink, but it is not laser. There is generally no scarring and success rate at completely removing the tattoo is high. As with laser, multiple treatments are required. This treatment is more expensive than laser, with cost being charged per pulse.

Tattoo Removal Creams

Removal creams break up the tattoo ink, which is then absorbed by the body. These treatments can be done at home. Cost is comparatively low, with a month's supply of product generally costing around $100. However, many months of treatments are required and success rates vary from the tattoo being completely removed to only being slightly faded. Results generally vary with skin types and the complexity of the tattoo.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels such as TCA (trichloroacetic acid) actually remove minute layers of skin. As with creams, many treatments are required to achieve the desired results. Results are generally better than with creams, but the tattoo may not be completely removed, and in some cases skin pigmentation changes have been noted. Cost is comparable with tattoo removal creams.

Remove Tattoo by Tattoo Excision

Cutting out the tattoo is not as common as it once was, not that laser removal is available, but it is still used. The tattoo is cut out and the skin is sewn back together. The upside is that the tattoo is completely removed. The downside is that you will be left with a scar.

As you can see, there are many tattoo removal methods. With proper research you will find one that meets your needs and the note to yourself to, "Remove Tattoo, Improve Life" will be a reality rather just an entry in your to-do file.(EzineArticles.com)

Japanese Painting

Japanese-Painting
Japanese Painting and Its Styles

One of the most popular art forms in Japan is Painting. Chinese painting style has lot of influence on the Japanese style of painting and these are beautiful, nice and sometimes very complex or intricate. In the period of Muromachi (1338-1573), Chinese style of paintings was established or introduced in Japan, due to the invasion of Chinese trade. Noblemen of Japan started buying these Chinese paintings to decorate their houses and thus started liking the Chinese painting style. This affinity by the painters of Japan for the Chinese paintings made them adopt the style for creating nice masterpieces that would appeal to the taste of Japan. In other words, Chinese style of paintings were the fore runner for Japanese paintings.

Japanese painters who were in the period of Muromachi depicted a deeper sense of space and every painting portrayed a story. Painting on landscapes developed in the period of Momoyama (1573 - 1603) and these are normally depicted on very big screens. During the period of Edo (1603 - 1867), a complete different way of painting emerged where gold leaf backgrounds were given to the paintings to get a holy mosaic effect that belonged to the Western Medieval period. Ukiyo-e style of painting emerged involving woodblock printing at the same time. Thus, Japanese paintings are rich in their medium of portrayal and this makes them very fascinating.

Japanese-Painting

Japanese painting had an influence from the styles of western too in the period of Meiji (1868 - 1912). Various schools for painting were open in Japan and every school followed the style of their interest. Suibokuga points to a painting that uses black ink for paintings. This had a unique mark of Zen Buddhism having inherited from China.

Kano Motonobu (1476 - 1559) along with this father Kano Masanobu established the Kano school for painting, which started in a revolt against the Suibokuga way of painting using black ink. Kano school used vibrant and bright colors and did lot of experiments with thick compositions that had flat and large areas. These are the source of stimulation for the designs of Ukiyo-e. Nanga style of painting was very prominent in the period of Bunsai and Bunka.

Paintings of Japanese have captured many people's hearts due to their artistic beauty and sense of space in their paintings. Artists of Japan used a vast range of mediums for their paintings. Most well-known subjects of Japanese paintings were women, reputed places, landscapes and wonderful views.(EzineArticles.com)

Girly Tattoos

Girly-Tattoos
Girly Tattoos - What to Consider Before Getting One

As a girl or a young woman the most important thing for you most probably is not to be any different from your friends. You want to wear the same sort of clothes, listen to the same sort of music, like the same sort of movies, books, etc. And if many of your friends have tattoos (and your most famous celebrities) you will want to have a girly tattoo as well.

Well, tattoos got quite fashionable during the last couple of years and it is not so uncommon anymore that women and girls have tattoos also. Anyhow, even if it is a fashion, it is wise to consider that not everybody whom you will meet in the future is so tolerant and will like to look at your tattoo.

As a girl you want to be extra careful with your decision about getting a tattoo. Here are some tips what to consider before you make your final decision.

1. Ask yourself: "Do I really want to get a tattoo because of me or is it just because everybody else has got one? Do I still want to have this tattoo when I am not 18 or 20 anymore? Will my kids like it or will it make them feel awkward having a mother with a tattoo?
2. Think very carefully about the design you are going to pick. A girly tattoo like e.g. a cute little kitten may be a sexy accessory as long as you are young. But how about it when you will be 50 years or older? Pick a design you will feel comfortable with for very many years. And never, never, never pick the name of your boyfriend. Your boyfriend maybe gone some day, but your tattoo will stay with you forever.
3. Where do you want to have the tattoo on your body? Pick a place which can easily be covered if necessary or is hidden underneath your clothes anyway. A tattoo should never be anything to be ashamed of but it should be something you are doing for yourself not for others. So there is not necessarily a need to show your tattoo openly all the time.
4. Choose the right tattoo studio very carefully. If your friends already have tattoos ask them for recommendations, ask them about their experiences. But never go to a tattoo studio just because everybody else is going there. You are the one, getting a tattoo, so make sure that you will feel comfortable with the studio and the studio owner and that you can trust the people working there. Try out several different studios, ask all the questions you may have and then take your time to make your decision.
5. Watch out for your health. Make sure the instruments and needles at the tattoo studio are new and sterile and that the person, doing the tattoo on you, is wearing gloves. Take good care of your tattoo and do as you have been told: Cover the tattoo at first, clean it thoroughly and apply lotion frequently.
6. Tattoos for girls (as for everybody else) stay with you for a lifetime. Having a tattoo removed is very painful and very expensive and mostly the results look awful. So, think before you ink! If you are not absolutely sure about your decision, why not start with a temporary tattoo at first. Try it out for a couple of days, Find out if this is really for you - if not, you can just wash it off.

Girly-Tattoos

There are very many wonderful designs of girly tattoos now and a nicely done tattoo can of course enhance the looks of a young woman. But still it remains a critical decision which should be made in a hurry.(EzineArticles.com)

Fairy-Tattoo
Fairy Tattoo Design - 10 Valuable Tips on How to Bring All the Magic Out of Your Special Fairy

I remember when I was a little girl, my grandma used to tell me bedtime stories. Fairy tales were my favorites. Nobody could have imagined, that sweet little girl, me, would end up, one day, getting herself her fairy tattoo design she had always dreamed of. I cannot quite explain it, and I think few can. What is it with those mysterious magical beings that enchant so many people out there?

It Is Time For The 'Fairy Finder' Magical Exercise

When I started searching for my fairy tattoo design I was quite clueless. I tried to envision it, and all I could see was her light-blue transparent dress and huge olive-colored wings garnished with golden tear-drops. My advices to you, dear fairy tattoo design seeker, is to stop for a moment and try to envision your fairy. Is she big or small, is she airy and transparent-like or more tangible. Do you imagine it in light colors or dark ones? Do you envision her next to a flower, a tree or a mushroom? Are her wings noticeable? If so, what types of wings are they: double wings or maybe feathered ones? Or maybe your fairy is really a naughty pixie with a brown hat and a mischievous grin?

Fairy-Tattoo

Note down all the things that pop-up in your mind. Once you are done with this phase, start browsing some fairy tattoo design galleries. Bear in mind, that you may apply your favorite attributes to any fairy tattoo design you favor.

I Have Really Tried, But I Am Not Able To Envision My Fairy

That is alright. Do not feel bad. It may be that your fairy is one of the sneaky ones. In this case, my advice is, browse the fairy tattoo designs featured in the link below. It is important to take your time while doing so. Watch them carefully, one by one. Do some seem to grab your attention more than others?

It may seem as if some are trying to tell you something while the others just seem as plain pictures.

The one that will enchant you, is definitely your fairy. She just would not let go of you.

The Magical Place For A Magical Fairy

To me, a fairy is more revealed than hidden. She can be reached, but you will have to make an effort to see her. That is why I had my fairy tattoo design on my lower back. Britney Spears chose the same spot for her tattoo. It is a noticeable spot, but requires a slight effort to discover. Another great location for a fairy tattoo design is the ankle. Amber Tamblyn chose to get her fairy on her ankle.

The fairy represents a force of nature. The reason for so many people being attracted to them is because they aspire to attain, and be part of these natural forces. The fairies symbolize growth and regeneration, the four seasons and the natural ability to regain health. They also represent perseverance, attention and care. In most cases, a fairy tattoo design represents love.(EzineArticles.com)

Women with tattoos are admired and applauded for their boldness. If you want to get ideas for your next tat, browse the Internet for feminine tattoo picture galleries.

Popular regions for tattoos on women include the lower back, the abdomen, ankles, arms, shoulders, and wrists. Such a tattoo suggests that they have a lot of self-confidence and inner strength. Popular designs for women's tattoos include mythical creatures like mermaids or phoenixes, animals like butterflies or dolphins, celestial bodies like suns or stars, and graphics like stars or hearts.

Tattoos pictures can range from conventional to downright odd - anything is possible with a tattoo. You can get any design you choose. Whatever is meaningful and special to you makes a great tattoo. For unconventional (but still reasonable) tattoo designs, get some Asian inspiration. Tattoos of ancient world maps, Chinese symbols, and Japanese Kanji are very popular. Indian and Arabic script are also very popular right now. Tattoos that include floral and tribal designs are also very hot with women.

Women, being a little bit more fashion forward than most men, usually consider getting a tattoo from all angles first. Tattoos are forever, so it's natural to be hesitant about getting one for the first time. It might be a good idea to have a trial period with a non permanent. That way you can gauge what it will be like to have a tattoo and whether you still like the design you chose. Designs for women have began to create a huge new generation of tattoos.

Having a tattoo is a fun and maintenance-free way to show your style, making them a great accessory for the busy but fashion conscious woman.
